What do I need to use GastroHelper?
A Windows 10 or 11 computer, a GastroHelper product key for that installation, and an authorized gGastro account for your practice.
Does it replace or sign the gGastro report?
GastroHelper helps you prepare a draft and save supported sections. Review the saved chart in gGastro; the physician remains responsible for the final report and signature. Signed source reports remain read only.
Which procedures can I work with?
The workspace supports EGD and colonoscopy workflows. Direct saving currently covers supported EGD sections, medications, image labels and narrative plans. Complete unsupported findings and procedures in gGastro.
Where do my credentials and chart details go?
The desktop app connects directly to gGastro. Saved credentials and local drafts are encrypted on your computer. The NivaraSoft licensing service handles activation and updates, and does not receive patient chart content.
How do updates work?
GastroHelper checks for updates within the app. You choose when to restart and install. Published installers and updater artifacts are signed through the NivaraSoft release process.
